The non-life insurance companies Compensa Vienna Insurance Group and Seesam Insurance have completed a merger with the permission of the competent authorities.

Assessing insurance premiums Lithuanian insurance market increased by 10 percent last year. This year the market will grow more moderately - by 6-7 percent.

Treatment prices for travellers have recently increased significantly. This is particularly evident in Lithuanian tourists favourite countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Spain, belonging to the island of Tenerife, and Japan, where the average bill for tourists treatment increased from 5 to 30 percent.
